Countywide At-Large, District 9

I am a prior Schoolboard Member for the U.S. Military Bases Public School system
I am a retired United States Marine serving just under 30 years
I am educated, certified, and experienced in managing large scale budgets, programs/projects, and implementing organizational strategies
I am a native Spanish speaker (We would make history as the first Hispanic to hold the countywide seat).

I am educated, trained, and an expert in Emergency Management, providing Physical Security for key areas/buildings, and have successfully managed security programs while serving at the Pentagon, Washington D.C.
I am a father of six, and providing secure learning environments where all our children can thrive without fear is a top priority
I am committed to honoring our local history/sacrifices and making Broward County Public Schools the premier national example on providing school safety

I am a father of a special needs child and am passionate about ensuring that Special Needs/ESE(Exceptional Student Education) Families are given the priority, resources, and support they need for successful academic journeys
I am driven to address our children’s mental health needs by focusing on root causes such as feelings of isolation or lack of meaning/purpose, and the many other unique challenges our children are facing today
All my efforts are based on my core belief that every child/student is a unique, priceless, and irreplaceable gift, each having limitless potential. I will protect, propel, and pave pathways of success for each of them!
